According to the annual plan and the consensus between China and Russia, the naval fleets of China and Russia recently conducted their fourth joint maritime cruise in the relevant waters of the western and northern Pacific Ocean. The Sino Russian Navy Joint Cruise Fleet at Sea is composed of the Chinese Navy's missile destroyer Yinchuan, missile frigate Hengshui, and Russian Navy's "Perfect" frigate, both of which carry carrier based helicopters and special operations personnel. The formation conducted consecutive exercises such as temporary inspection and capture, helicopter landing, etc. in the relevant waters of the northern and western Pacific Ocean. During this period, officers and soldiers from both sides worked closely together to quickly control important parts such as the cockpit of the "suspicious vessel" and successfully escorted it to the designated sea area. During the cruise, the Russian side also dispatched liaison officers to board the Yinchuan ship and fully participate in the work of the joint cruise formation command post. They jointly conducted plan discussions, exercise organization, and review and summary with Chinese personnel, further strengthening communication, exchange, and cooperation between the two sides. This joint cruise is the fourth consecutive maritime joint cruise organized by China and Russia since 2021. The Sino Russian joint formation set sail from the waters south of Jeju Island, crossed the Osumi Strait, headed south through the western Pacific, and entered the South China Sea through the Balintang Strait. During this period, Chinese and Russian naval officers and soldiers cooperated seamlessly and efficiently, successfully completing the established tasks.
