Optimistically, it is expected that the scale of low altitude economy will exceed one trillion yuan by 2026. The extension of the connotation of low altitude economy constantly explores new economic growth points. 'Low altitude+tourism' enriches new consumption scenarios for the general public, with unique consumption scenarios such as paragliding, hot air balloons, and seaplanes, stimulating the trend of low altitude consumption in many regions. The expansion of "low altitude+delivery" to meet consumer demand is exploring the introduction of drone delivery services from urban food delivery to tourist attractions. Recently, the first domestic "low altitude+rail" air rail intermodal project officially opened at Shenzhen North Station, marking the first time that "low altitude+rail" has entered daily travel... Through new technologies to explore new markets, the low altitude economy has become a new engine for economic development in various regions. In recent years, China has continuously made strategic deployments at the macro and top-level design levels, effectively promoting the development of low altitude economy. In 2021, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Outline of the National Comprehensive Three dimensional Transportation Network Plan", which for the first time included low altitude economy in the development plan. The Central Economic Work Conference held at the end of last year clearly proposed to build several strategic emerging industries such as low altitude economy. On January 1, 2024, the Interim Regulations on the Management of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Flights were implemented, further regulating the development of the unmanned aerial vehicle industry in the low altitude economy. On February 23rd, the fourth meeting of the Central Committee for Finance and Economics focused on reducing logistics costs for the entire society, emphasizing the encouragement of the development of new logistics models that combine platform economy, low altitude economy, unmanned driving, and other technologies. During this year's Two Sessions, the low altitude economy was included for the first time in the Government Work Report. At present, the development of China's low altitude economy is still in the stage of practical exploration, especially in infrastructure construction, which involves the construction of various aspects such as the national aviation control service system, aviation support system, and aviation airports. How to achieve profitability and sustainable development in the future is still the key. To promote the healthy development of low altitude economy, we should focus on several aspects. Continuously strengthen technological innovation and application. Furthermore, it will expand new application scenarios and promote the development of low altitude products and services towards "popularization". Accelerate the improvement of infrastructure construction. Accelerate the construction of general airports, support the acceleration of the construction of general airports and various takeoff and landing sites, and improve functions such as aircraft takeoff and landing, alternate landing, parking, and energy supply. Promote the construction of intelligent information infrastructure. Enhance the capability of low altitude meteorological services. Continuously cultivate market operation entities.
