The person in charge of the Freight Department of China Railway Group introduced that since the beginning of this year, China Railway Corporation has accelerated the construction of a modern railway logistics system, actively connected with the production and logistics market demand of enterprises, increased the investment in freight capacity, vigorously developed multimodal transport, accelerated the construction of railway dedicated lines, optimized the supply of railway logistics products and transportation organization, and provided strong support for the recovery and improvement of the national economy and the reduction of logistics costs in the whole society. In terms of ensuring the transportation of key materials, China Railway Corporation has carefully organized energy supply transportation during peak summer season, made good use of major freight channels such as Daqin, Haoji, Wali, Tangbao, and Lanxin railways, vigorously operated 10000 ton trains, and strengthened the organization of coal transportation from the west to the east, north to the south, and Xinjiang to the outside. In June, the average daily loading of coal on national railways was 83500 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%, and the average daily loading of electric coal was 59000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 3%, both reaching new historical highs for the same period. In addition, national railway enterprises are leveraging the role of 40 railway logistics centers across the country to promote the transformation of railway transportation from traditional "station to station" to "door-to-door" full logistics services. Related enterprises have vigorously developed multimodal transportation and developed 17 new container types, including coil steel boxes, grain boxes, and dangerous goods liquid tank boxes, effectively promoting the high-quality development of public rail and sea rail transportation. In June, the shipment volume of national railway containers, commercial vehicles, and cold chain goods increased by 18.0%, 12.1%, and 21.2% respectively year-on-year, all reaching new historical highs for the same period. At the same time, national railway enterprises have strengthened international cooperation in railways, continuously improved the transportation capacity of channels and the replacement capacity of key ports, strengthened the monitoring and safety guarantee of the entire train operation, and the cross-border freight transportation has shown a trend of both quantity and quality improvement, effectively ensuring the stability and smoothness of the international supply chain industry chain, injecting new momentum into serving China's foreign trade development and high-level opening up to the outside world. In June, the China Europe freight train operated a total of 1719 trains and shipped 180000 TEUs of goods, an increase of 15% and 11% year-on-year, respectively; China Laos Railway delivered 2.783 million tons of cross-border goods, up 20.7% year on year.
