Li Qiang stated that in the five years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the bilateral relationship has maintained strong development, political mutual trust between the two sides has continued to deepen, and fruitful achievements have been made in exchanges and cooperation in various fields, becoming a model for South South cooperation among developing countries. China is willing to work together with the other side to further enrich the comprehensive strategic partnership of mutual respect and common development in the new era, and continuously enhance the well-being of the two peoples.
Li Qiang pointed out that China supports the people of the country to independently choose a development path that is in line with their own national conditions, and is willing to continue to firmly support each other's core interests. China is willing to share more development experience with the country, strengthen cooperation in infrastructure, rural development, information and communication, low-carbon transformation and other fields, and help the country enhance its endogenous development momentum. The Chinese side is willing to import more high-quality agricultural and food products from our side, and encourages strong Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in our country. Both sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation in fields such as education, health, culture and sports, youth, and local areas, further facilitate personnel exchanges, and consolidate the public opinion foundation of cooperation between the two countries.
Li Qiang emphasized that China will continue to uphold the principles of mutual respect, equal treatment, mutually beneficial cooperation, and common development, promote the continuous development of comprehensive strategic partnerships with Pacific island countries such as the Solomon Islands, and work together to build a closer community of shared destiny between China and Pacific island countries.
Manele expressed that in the five years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, there have been fruitful achievements in the cooperation between the Institute and China. China strongly supports the economic and social development of the Institute, and the Institute is deeply grateful for this. We are willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China in areas such as economy and trade, infrastructure construction, healthcare, humanities, poverty alleviation, and work together to address global challenges such as climate change, and promote the sustained development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two countries in the new era.
After the talks, the prime ministers of the two countries jointly witnessed the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation documents, including the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", trade, education, digital economy, green development, inspection and quarantine.
Before the meeting, Li Qiang held a welcome ceremony for Manele in the North Hall of the Great Hall of the People.
Wu Zhenglong participated in the above-mentioned activities.
In the afternoon of that day, Manele laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes.
