The Beijing Financial Court recently held a press conference on typical cases of promoting the compliance of insurance institutions in the Financial Street Circuit Court, and reported the insurance dispute cases that have typical significance and social impact since the establishment of the Beijing Financial Court in terms of Internet insurance, standard terms, "lenient entry and strict exit" phenomenon of insurance claims and misleading insurance, helping to promote the compliance of insurance institutions and creating a good financial rule of law environment. "The insurance industry is constantly innovating and developing, and insurance products with various functions such as investment and wealth management, survival protection, health and medical care, accidental injury compensation, liability compensation, and inclusive elderly care are constantly emerging. Trading practices and paradigms such as combination insurance and intermediary insurance are constantly changing." Song Yi, Vice President of the Beijing Financial Court, said that the proportion of traditional offline insurance sales models signing insurance contracts has gradually decreased, and the market share of Internet insurance has significantly increased. In addition, the new commercial insurance products provided for express delivery personnel, ride hailing drivers, delivery riders and other staff have received widespread attention from platform operators and practitioners. It is reported that in order to further promote the compliance and business development of insurance institutions, the Beijing Financial Court has strengthened its professionalism and refinement in recent years, and has launched multiple research results through the release of white papers on insurance dispute trials and other means. In terms of dispute resolution and source of litigation governance, the Beijing Financial Court has signed a memorandum of cooperation with six financial industry associations, including the China Insurance Industry Association, to promote the formation of a joint force for resolving disputes. It has also coordinated with insurance regulatory authorities, industry associations, insurance mediation organizations, insurance institutions, and other entities to regularly send compliance co governance reminders and build a multi-level and three-dimensional judicial feedback mechanism based on the prominent issues of non compliant business reflected in case trials.
