The 50MW photovoltaic energy storage project of SDIC in Dingjie County, Shigatse City, Xizang was successfully connected to the local grid on the 7th. The project, with a total investment of 270 million yuan (RMB), is the first photovoltaic power generation project in Dingjie County, and also a power supply guarantee project in Xizang this winter and next spring in 2023. It is reported that this project is the first key investment attraction project worth over 100 million yuan successfully introduced by Dingjie County. Its completion not only efficiently utilizes land resources, but also has a positive demonstration and promotion effect on increasing people's income, promoting cultural tourism, and promoting rural revitalization. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the average annual power generation is about 82.95 million kWh, which can save 25300 tons of standard coal every year and reduce about 69500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This will effectively solve the load pressure on the power grid in Xizang's border area, improve the power quality and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system. The project can also promote the use and development of clean low-carbon renewable energy, effectively improve the security, economy, reliability and flexibility of the regional power grid, and make an important contribution to balancing the power gap during the summer peak in Xizang in the future.
