Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the national political and legal organs have been focusing on establishing regulations and systems, improving the system and working mechanism of the Party's absolute leadership over political and legal work, improving the working mechanism and procedures to ensure that the Party determines the principles, policies, and decision-making arrangements for governing the country according to law, and promoting the continuous strengthening of the integrated, radiating, and coupling effects of political and legal reform. Taking strengthening the construction of the rule of law as an important responsibility, the Central Political and Legal Commission has conducted thematic research and deployment on scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, fair justice, and law-abiding for all.
