The weather was very good in those days, and someone asked at that time, is this' APEC Blue 'sustainable? I answered them, "This is not a brief blue sky, it will be permanent blue in a few years." The transition from "APEC Blue" to the long-term "Beijing Blue" is a landmark achievement in China's efforts to promote pollution prevention and control through reform in the new era. The construction of ecological civilization is a fundamental plan related to the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. The two guiding documents, "Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Ecological Civilization" and "Overall Plan for Ecological Civilization System Reform", have been issued to build the "four beams and eight pillars" of ecological civilization system reform and make comprehensive and systematic arrangements for ecological civilization construction. The Party Central Committee leads billions of people to declare war on pollution and continuously improve the quality of the ecological environment. The Yangtze River is the mother river of the Chinese nation and an important support for the development of the Chinese nation. More and more greenery is shining on the mountains and rivers of our country. Nowadays, the concept that green mountains and clear waters are invaluable assets has gradually become a consensus and action of the entire Party and society. China's ecological civilization system reform is accelerating, and ecological environment protection has undergone historic, transitional, and global changes. The construction of a beautiful China has taken significant steps. Institutional protection, strengthening ecological protection and restoration supervision through symbiosis. Every May, the annual migration and breeding season of the "Plateau Elf" Tibetan antelope begins. China has also creatively proposed the ecological protection red line system, which includes areas with extremely important ecological functions, extremely fragile ecology, and potential important ecological value into the ecological protection red line, achieving a red line to control important ecological spaces. As of now, the red line area of land ecological protection accounts for over 30% of the land area. Protect the green mountains and clear waters, adhere to the use of institutional management to govern officials, protect the blue and increase green, and make the system a rigid constraint and an untouchable high-voltage line. Whether ecological environment protection can be implemented effectively depends on leadership cadres and fundamentally on institutional guarantees. The typical ecological damage problems of Qilian Mountains, illegal and irregular construction of golf courses and villas in Changbai Mountain International Resort, illegal reclamation and development in some areas of Hainan, and excessive development of Changyao Mountain in Dianchi Lake have been solved one by one, relying on the "sharp sword" of the central ecological environment protection inspection system. Adhering to problem orientation, exposing typical cases, precise and effective accountability, and forming a closed loop of rectification... Central ecological and environmental protection inspectors dare to take action seriously, are not afraid of offending people, bite into problems and do not relax, becoming a hard and practical move to promote the implementation of ecological and environmental protection responsibilities. In recent years, a series of institutional measures have provided strong support, and China has focused on improving the diversity, stability, and sustainability of its ecosystem. The integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and sands have achieved significant results, leaving a beautiful ecological space for future generations.
