The Ministry of Education conducts special supervision on the employment of college graduates from multiple provinces

2024-06-28

In order to implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the employment of college graduates, the Ministry of Education has recently organized a special supervision on the employment of college graduates in 2024. Members of the Party group of the Ministry led teams to carry out on-site supervision in provinces and cities such as Anhui, Liaoning, Hebei, Beijing, Jiangxi, and Tianjin. The Ministry of Education emphasizes that college graduates are precious talent resources for the Party and the country. The employment of college graduates is closely related to high-quality development, people's well-being, and social stability. The Party Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to it and require that the employment of young people such as college graduates be given top priority. All regions and universities should further enhance their political stance, effectively enhance their sense of mission, responsibility, and urgency in doing a good job in the employment of college graduates, implement this major political task well, and promote the smooth and early employment of college graduates. The Ministry of Education emphasizes that as universities enter the stage of graduates leaving, they should seize the opportunity to promote employment and accelerate the implementation of their work. We need to make greater efforts to expand employment opportunities and rely on the National College Student Employment Service Platform to organize online recruitment. Various regions should continue to hold recruitment activities and continuously push job information. Secondly, we need to accelerate the recruitment of policy positions, make good use of policies to stabilize and expand employment, implement grassroots employment projects such as the "Special Post Plan", and guide and encourage graduates to make achievements and careers at the grassroots level. Three, we must provide guidance and assistance with sincerity and emotion, care about the employment progress of unemployed graduates, especially those from disadvantaged groups, and provide targeted employment guidance and job recommendations. We must standardize the registration of graduation destinations, carry out self-examination of employment data at the provincial and school levels, and ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the data. Effectively safeguard the legitimate employment rights and interests of graduates, and meticulously carry out the work of graduation departure services and inter departmental service continuity. We must effectively prevent and control employment risks, strengthen positive publicity and guidance, and actively create a good atmosphere for the whole society to jointly promote the employment of college graduates.
