On June 25th, the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference visited the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for research, focusing on cultivating a religious research team with firm ideological and political beliefs, adhering to Marxist religious views, excellent academic style, and good at innovation. Zhang Jiaming, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended and delivered a speech. At the meeting, officials from relevant units such as the Beijing Municipal Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the Central University for Nationalities, and the Religious Culture Publishing House introduced their respective work situations. Yuan Zhihong, Cheng Lesong, Lv Yingci, Wang Chengya, and other members of the committee, as well as attending experts and scholars, made exchange speeches on the research topic. Everyone believes that the Marxist religious research team is an important force in doing a good job in the Party's religious work in the new era, and must make great efforts to cultivate it. Promote the construction of think tanks for religious work with Chinese characteristics, and support research institutions with conditions to build Marxist religious research bases; To provide service guarantees for the research team of religious education, and to enhance the enthusiasm of religious education researchers at all levels.
