On June 24th, the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Public Security jointly launched the "National Anti Fraud Action" concentrated publicity month activity with the theme of "Beware of New Methods of Fraud, Do Not Be Electric Fraud Tools", further strengthening the anti fraud publicity efforts, effectively enhancing the public's awareness and ability to prevent fraud, and actively creating a strong atmosphere of national anti fraud and whole society anti fraud. According to the activity schedule, various regions and departments will organize and carry out the "Five Entries" campaign nationwide to prevent telecommunications network fraud crimes, including entering communities, rural areas, families, schools, and enterprises. Targeted publicity will be carried out around the characteristics of the region and industry, and precise publicity will be strengthened for enterprise merchants, accounting personnel, minors, and the elderly. A batch of high-risk telecommunications network fraud types and the latest fraud techniques will be announced, further enhancing the public's awareness and ability to recognize and prevent fraud, and effectively safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests. At the same time, by releasing typical cases and other forms of interpreting and popularizing the law through cases, we guide the public to enhance their awareness of the rule of law and self-protection, and avoid becoming "tools" and "accomplices" of telecommunications network fraudsters. During the event, the Ministry of Public Security will deploy the National Anti Fraud Center, in conjunction with the Consular Protection Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education, to release the "Overseas Prevention of Telecommunications and Network Fraud Propaganda Handbook", effectively improving the prevention awareness and ability of overseas students and the Chinese community. It is understood that since 2023, various regions and departments have firmly established the development concept of putting the people at the center, deeply implemented the Anti Telecom Network Fraud Law of the People's Republic of China, and made every effort to promote various measures for prevention and control, achieving significant results in cracking down on governance work. As of May this year, 543000 telecommunications network fraud cases have been uncovered nationwide, and a large number of illegal suspect have been arrested. Historic achievements have been made in combating telecommunications network fraud crimes involving China in northern Myanmar, 49000 Chinese suspect have been handed over to us, and the rising trend of telecommunications network fraud crimes has been effectively curbed. Especially in northern Myanmar, the "four major families" of criminal groups have been dealt a devastating blow, and a large number of overseas fraud dens have been successfully eradicated, severely cracking down on the arrogance of overseas fraud groups.
