The organizing committee meeting for the 2024 "One Hundred Legal Experts and One Hundred Reports Conference" rule of law preaching event was held in Beijing on June 24th. The meeting pointed out that in 2023, more than 95000 "Double Hundred" event report meetings were held nationwide, with continuously enriched content and forms, and further expanded and improved coverage and influence. The vast number of legal professionals actively carry out rule of law propaganda and legal consulting services, effectively promoting the popularization of constitutional and legal knowledge, promoting the spirit of socialist rule of law, and making positive contributions to accelerating the construction of a rule of law society. We should strengthen publicity closely around ensuring Chinese path to modernization with good laws and good governance, vigorously promote the spirit of the Constitution, deeply publicize laws such as the Civil Code, comprehensively strengthen publicity and education on the rule of law for national security, and create a strong atmosphere of rule of law in the whole society. We should focus on the overall work of the Party and the state, explain the hard principles of high-quality development in this new era, promote the service and guarantee role of the rule of law, and better utilize the power of the rule of law to assist the development of new productive forces. We must adhere to putting the people at the center, combine the "Double Hundred" activities with the work of the chief legal consulting expert, fully leverage the role of the Law Society as a grassroots service station, and focus on promoting the resolution of the people's urgent and difficult problems. The "Hundred Lectures of Legal Experts" is a legal education event jointly organized by the Central Organization Department, the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Political and Legal Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice, and the China Law Society. Chen Xunqiu, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the China Law Society, presided over the meeting. Qi Jiabin, Deputy Minister of the Central Organization Department, Yang Chunlei, Deputy Secretary General of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, Hu Weilie, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice, and Tian Xueping, Deputy Secretary General of the Central Propaganda Department, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Weng Tiehui, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, delivered a written speech. Li Rulin, a member of the Party Group and Vice President of the China Law Society, reported on the "Double Hundred" activities in 2023 and the work arrangements for 2024. Zhang Mingqi, member of the Party Group, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Law Society, Zhang Wenxian, member of the Party Group and Director of the Academic Committee, Wang Qijiang and Zhang Sujun, members of the Party Group and Vice Presidents, relevant officials from the Central and State Organ Working Committees and the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Central Military Commission, and relevant officials from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission stationed at the Ministry of Justice attended the meeting. Representatives of the lecturers for the "Double Hundred" event, Mo Jihong and Wang Xu, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Leaders from relevant departments of the Central Organization Department, Central Propaganda Department, Central Political and Legal Commission, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Justice, as well as leaders from various departments and directly affiliated units of the China Law Society, attended the meeting.
