The 2024 World Intelligent Industry Expo opened on the 20th at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). The Expo, with the theme of "Smart Journey to the World, Active Future", integrates exhibitions, experiences, and competitions. The World Intelligent Industry Expo was formed by the merger of the World Intelligent Conference and the China International Intelligent Industry Expo. The 2024 World Intelligent Industry Expo is jointly hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Government and the Chongqing Municipal Government. The two regions use the Expo as a link to strengthen linkage, deepen cooperation, and forge strengths and weaknesses, providing new impetus for the joint development of new quality productive forces in Tianjin and Chongqing. The "Artificial Intelligence Big Model Exhibition Group" comprehensively showcases the achievements of graphic and text generation, multimodal processing, parameter scale expansion, and empowering thousands of industries. The "Intelligent Robot Exhibition Group" and "Low Altitude Economy Exhibition Group" collectively showcase advanced technological products, showcasing the charm of technology to the audience. The Expo has set up an intelligent connected car hall for the first time, featuring domestic and foreign car companies such as FAW Toyota, FAW Volkswagen, Great Wall Motors, Celes, Xiaomi, Ideal, NIO, Xiaopeng, Tesla, etc., allowing visitors to experience the fun of electric, intelligent, and connected transportation. During the Expo, global authoritative institutions, high-end think tanks, and well-known enterprises will release more than 90 research reports and innovative achievements focusing on sharing the development opportunities of the intelligent industry, activating the growth momentum of the global intelligent industry, building a global intelligent industry cooperation mechanism, and building a global intelligent industry public platform, igniting a new engine of intelligent technology. In addition, green and low-carbon is a major highlight of this year's Expo. The organizing committee actively promotes the deep integration of intelligent industry and green energy, achieving 100% "green electricity" guarantee for the Expo venues. On the day before the opening of the Expo, Tianjin held a signing ceremony for the key projects of the 2024 World Intelligent Industry Expo. 103 projects were signed on-site, including 95 domestic projects and 8 foreign projects, with a total investment of approximately 109.2 billion yuan. Among them, there are 46 manufacturing projects with a total investment of approximately 54.5 billion yuan, involving industries such as new generation information technology, automobiles, biopharmaceuticals, equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and light industry that Tianjin focuses on building; There are 57 service industry projects with a total investment of approximately 54.7 billion yuan, involving industries such as finance, technology, trade, logistics, and cultural tourism.
