From June 21st to June 22nd, some National People's Congress deputies and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Henan, and Jilin provinces conducted special research on the implementation of the "Inspection and Protection of People's Livelihoods" special action by the procuratorial organs of Jilin Province at the invitation of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. On the morning of the 21st, a symposium was held in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, where National People's Congress deputies and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference conducted research on the special action of the procuratorial organs in Jilin Province to protect people's livelihoods. The person in charge of the Civil Prosecutors Office of the Supreme People's Procuratorate gave an introduction to the special research activity and related prosecutorial work. The relevant person in charge of the Jilin Provincial Procuratorate introduced the overall work of the procuratorial organs in Jilin Province and the progress of the special action to protect people's livelihoods. During the symposium, the representative committee members gave full recognition to the highlights of "safeguarding people's livelihoods" in their respective regions, as introduced by relevant officials from the procuratorates of Siping City, Baicheng City, Songyuan City, and Yanbian Prefecture. They also gave full recognition to civil procuratorial reconciliation, supervision of illegal execution of accounts related to migrant worker wages, civil support prosecution, and supervision of false litigation. In the afternoon of that day, the representative committee members came to Helong City to continue researching the work of "safeguarding people's livelihoods". In Guangdong Village, Dongcheng Town, the representative committee member stood in the field, watching the wind blowing rice waves, feeling the "fragrance of rice flowers by the Hailan River", while also giving praise to the judicial warmth demonstrated by the procuratorial organs of Jilin Province in the special action of "protecting people's livelihoods". Subsequently, at the People's Procuratorate of Helong City, the representative members watched a short film titled "60000 yuan missing" reflecting civil support for prosecution cases, and listened to the prosecutor's introduction on "cases of migrant workers seeking labor compensation support for prosecution". Regarding the details of case handling and related social governance issues that the representative committee members are concerned about, the relevant leaders of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Jilin Provincial Procuratorate, as well as the handling prosecutors, have provided detailed answers one by one. On the 22nd, the representative committee members visited the Huangsongpu Forest Farm of Baihe Forestry Branch of Jilin Changbai Mountain Forest Industry Group Co., Ltd. to conduct research on the inspection and supervision of ecological environment protection in Changbai Mountain and the implementation of the special action of "protecting people's livelihoods". During the two-day special research activity, representatives and members fully affirmed the procuratorial work in Jilin, and put forward opinions and suggestions on how the procuratorial organs can further protect the legitimate rights and interests of vulnerable groups, protect the healthy growth of minors, strengthen ecological environment protection, empower legal supervision with big data, and promote legal education. The National People's Congress representatives invited to participate in this special research activity are Wang Lan, Yu Mingji, Bai Yujing, Li Wenhui, Hu Zhonghui, Nie Shoujun, Gao Chunyan, and Liang Daihua.
