The tuition fee per student per academic year is HKD 42100 from 2024 to 2025, which will increase to HKD 44500 from 2025 to 2026, HKD 47000 from 2026 to 2027, and HKD 49500 from 2027 to 2028. On the 20th, the Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chen Guoji, stated that university tuition fees have not been adjusted for over 20 years, while inflation has increased by 40% during the same period. This adjustment is quite moderate, with students only paying an additional approximately HKD 200 per month, and we believe they can afford it. Chen Guoji said that university education is very important for the future of Hong Kong, and the policies of the SAR government will ensure that eligible students will not be unable to attend university due to economic reasons.
