On June 19th, the International Commercial Dispute Resolution Center of Hainan Free Trade Port officially launched operation at the First Intermediate People's Court of Hainan Province. This marks another important step for Hainan Province in building a diversified international commercial dispute resolution mechanism, and also provides new impetus for further optimizing the legal, international, and convenient business environment of Hainan Free Trade Port. The Hainan Free Trade Port International Commercial Dispute Resolution Center is a key project for the construction of free trade ports by the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. It is led by the Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Commission, jointly promoted by the Provincial Higher People's Court and the Provincial Department of Justice, and organized and implemented by the Provincial First Intermediate People's Court. The center aims to establish mechanisms for resolving international commercial disputes in countries and regions with high-level international openness. It is reported that the center provides synchronous online and offline services, with nearly 1500 square meters of service space built offline and a unified information work platform built online. The platform integrates multiple functions such as credit inquiry for commercial entities to prevent disputes in advance, risk prevention and control in commercial activities, and dispute resolution after disputes occur, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, notarization, audit, and foreign law investigation. It achieves centralized acceptance, unified allocation, high-level supervision, data analysis, and diversified resolution of international commercial disputes in Hainan Free Trade Port. (Lai Xin She)
