Guangzhou United Front Jointly Composes Guangzhou Anthem and Presents

On June 19th, the Guangzhou Ode - Guangzhou United Front "Understanding Guangzhou, Loving Guangzhou, Dedicating Guangzhou" and the Celebration of the July 1st Party Day Theme Practice Activity (referred to as the "Guangzhou United Front Theme Practice Activity") were held at the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theater. Nearly 1000 members of the United Front Work Leading Group of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People's Congress, Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and Municipal Party Committee, various democratic parties and united front organizations in the city, relevant leaders of the United Front Work Department of various district committees, and members of the united front work in the city participated. The theme exhibition of "Guangzhou Ode" is a concentric and co composed Guangzhou Ode, singing the story of Yangcheng. "The beautiful Five Yangcheng has gone from ancient times to the present, and every footprint has a charming story..." The Guangzhou United Front theme practice activity kicked off with the gentle and melodious singing of "Yangcheng Yin". This event is divided into two parts: a performance and an exhibition. The performance is themed "Understanding Guangzhou, Loving Guangzhou, Devoting Guangzhou" and celebrating the "July 1st" Party Day. It is divided into three chapters: "City of the Millennium", "City of Heroes", and "City of New Colors", with a total of 15 original songs. In the chapter of "Millennium City", five songs, including "Love in Yunshan" and "the Pearl River Love", describe the picturesque scenery of Baiyun Mountain, the Pearl River and sand in Guangzhou, and convey the author and singer's love for every brick, tile, grass and tree in Guangzhou. In the chapter of "City of Heroes", "Picking the Loong Boat" and "Guangzhou Wude Tan" sing the traditional folk customs of Guangzhou, such as racing the Loong Boat, drinking morning tea, and shopping in the flower street, in Cantonese, while songs such as "City of Heroes" praise the heroic deeds of the heroic sons and daughters of Yangcheng to strive for national independence and national prosperity and strength all their lives. In the chapter of "New Color City", five songs including "New Color Guangzhou" and "Beautiful Scenery of Guangzhou" showcase the unique charm and charm of Guangzhou as an international metropolis, and warmly invite friends from all over the world to gather in Guangzhou. The performance came to a successful conclusion with the chorus of the theme song "Great Unity and Great Union" from "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden", and received continuous applause from thousands of viewers on site. It is understood that the 15 original songs exhibited this time were all written by the main responsible comrades of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, composed by Wu Jianpei, the music director of the "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden" Tongxin Art Troupe, and directed by Zhang Ling, the leader of the Tongxin Art Troupe. Artists and enthusiasts in the field of vocal performance on the Guangzhou United Front performed them. The exhibition features a variety of performance forms such as solo, group singing, and choir, accompanied by artistic techniques such as dance, situational performance, and video presentation, bringing a vocal feast with Guangzhou United Front characteristics to the on-site audience. In addition to exhibitions and performances, the event also features themed exhibitions, including calligraphy and painting exhibitions and craft exhibitions with the theme of "Understanding Guangzhou, Loving Guangzhou, and Dedicating Guangzhou" and celebrating the "July 1st" Party Day, as well as paying tribute to laborers and promoting Chinese culture. The "Guangzhou Ode" themed exhibition of calligraphy and painting showcases 35 works created by members of the "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden" Tongxin Calligraphy and Painting Troupe, as well as collections from the Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Museum. The work mainly focuses on Guangzhou's flowers, birds, landscapes, and characteristic architecture, using brushstrokes, colors, lines, and composition as expressive techniques to interpret the artistic and spiritual beauty of Lingnan calligraphy and painting. The craft exhibition showcases 12 sets of arts and crafts, including ivory carvings, jade carvings, wood carvings, olive carvings, brick carvings, Guangcai, Guangxiu, pottery, palace lanterns, gray sculptures, enamel colors, etc. These works were created by the "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden" craft team and 13 artists from various democratic parties. Through the highly distinctive "Three Carvings, One Color, and One Embroidery", they showcase the charm of traditional Chinese folk crafts and promote Chinese craftsmanship culture and spirit. The figure exhibition is a work created by ink portrait painters who have been stationed in Taiping Town, Yangshan County, led by the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee for nearly two years, capturing the vivid moments of grassroots workers and showcasing the images of hardworking, brave, hardworking, and dedicated workers. This exhibition coincides with the coming of the "July 1st" Party Day. Artists celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the CPC with calligraphy, arts and crafts, paintings and other works, carry forward the glorious history of the party, praise the glorious achievements of the party, look forward to the bright future of the party, and gather the great power of the united front members to always listen to the party and follow the party. By using paintings to imitate the beautiful scenery of Guangzhou, calligraphy to tell the story of Guangzhou, craftsmanship to inherit Guangzhou culture, and using works to convey the beauty of Guangzhou, more people can learn and understand Guangzhou through the work, and thus fall in love with Guangzhou. "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden" is a brand new practice created, compiled, and performed by the members of the "Guangzhou Tongxin Garden". The main person in charge of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee pointed out in the event that "since its establishment more than five months ago, with the joint efforts of everyone, the organizational structure of" Guangzhou Tongxin Garden "has become more and more perfect, the personnel strength has become stronger, and the content form has become more and more diverse."
