In the Internet era, people's social interaction, learning, work and so on are all carried out in cyberspace, and the resulting network related disputes are also increasing significantly. How to prevent and resolve conflicts and disputes in multiple ways? Zhou Jiahai, director of the Research Office of the Supreme People's Court, introduced that the People's Court has extended online litigation to courts across the country by establishing an Internet court, exploring "online dispute trial" and simultaneously exploring "mobile micro court" on the mobile phone. In 2023, the number of cases accepted by courts nationwide exceeded 45 million, of which 30% were registered online, and more than half of the legal documents were delivered online, greatly improving the quality and efficiency of trials and facilitating the people. At the same time, the People's Court has worked with relevant departments to improve network governance by making and issuing judicial suggestions, releasing typical cases, participating in network legislation, promoting the Internet platform to fulfill its corresponding legal and social responsibilities, and striving to achieve the source prevention and comprehensive governance of network related disputes and crimes.
