The 7th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded in Beijing on the morning of the 6th. The meeting discussed and discussed politics on the topic of "building a high-level socialist market economy system". Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, presided over the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. The CPPCC should study and understand deeply, focus on promoting Chinese path to modernization, implementing the "two unswerving", improving the basic system of the market economy, building a high standard market system, improving the macroeconomic governance system, building a new open economy system, deepen research and consultation, strengthen democratic supervision, widely gather consensus, and actively contribute to building a high-level socialist market economy system.
Wang Huning stated that it is necessary to carefully organize the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, carefully prepare for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Political Consultative Conference, strengthen the work of special committees, and promote the construction of the CPPCC organs into homes for CPPCC members.
After a vote, the meeting decided to add Ma Xiaowei, Yi Huiman, and Cao Jun as members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Appoint Hu Henglu as the Deputy Secretary General of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yi Huiman as the Deputy Director of the Economic Commission, Ma Xiaowei as the Deputy Director of the Education, Science, Health and Sports Commission, and Cao Jun as the Deputy Director of the Education, Science, Health and Sports Commission; Sui Qing no longer serves as the Deputy Director of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee. The meeting passed the decision to accept the resignation of Comrade Zhang Xiaoming as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the decision to accept Wang Man's resignation as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The meeting passed a decision to dismiss Gou Zhongwen from his position as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice Chairman of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, and to revoke his membership; Confirmation of the decision to revoke the qualifications of Shi Lei and Tang Yijun as members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
After the closing ceremony, Yin Shouyi, Vice Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University, was invited to give a learning lecture titled "Development Prospects and Challenges of China's Chip Industry".
