The 7th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a plenary session on the afternoon of the 5th. 14 CPPCC Standing Committee members delivered speeches on "building a high-level socialist market economy system". Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended.
Yi Gang, a member of the Standing Committee, suggested deepening market-oriented reforms, promoting the construction of the rule of law, adhering to high-level opening up to the outside world, and further improving the socialist market economy system. Wang Zhigang, a standing committee member, proposed to highlight the top-level design of the scientific and technological innovation system and the key role of talent, and to coordinate the construction of international and regional scientific and technological innovation centers. Zhang Lianqi, a standing committee member, suggested deepening the reform of the financial and tax system, promoting the construction of a unified national market, enhancing people's well-being, and allowing all people to share the fruits of development. Jiang Erxiong, a member of the Standing Committee, spoke on behalf of the Central Committee of the Taiwan League and proposed to establish a sound data property rights system, promote efficient circulation of data elements, and further empower the real economy. On behalf of the Central Committee of the People's Republic of China, the Standing Committee of Jie Dong proposed to further strengthen the synergy of macro policies, enhance the coordination of fiscal and financial policies, and form a virtuous cycle of mutual promotion between consumption and investment. Zhang Zhenyu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party of China, spoke on behalf of the Central Committee and suggested continuously optimizing the development environment of the private economy, stimulating the vitality of private investment, encouraging and supporting private enterprises to explore new fields, new technologies, and new markets, and play a role in developing new quality productive forces. Ge Huibo, a member of the Standing Committee, spoke on behalf of the Central Committee of the 93 Society, proposing to deepen the reform of the income distribution system, focus on promoting income growth for low-income groups, and promote the realization of common prosperity for all people. Bi Jingquan, a standing committee member, suggested exploring the construction of a unified medical security system for the elderly in urban and rural areas to address the challenges of an aging society. Zhang Kuanshou, a standing committee member, suggested improving the mechanism for raising funds and adjusting benefits for basic medical insurance, and promoting the coordinated development and governance of medical insurance, medical care, and medicine. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Democratic League of China, Qian Keming, a standing committee member, made a speech proposing to facilitate the flow of urban-rural factors, coordinate urban-rural relations, promote integrated urban-rural development, and comprehensively promote rural revitalization. Standing Committee Member Cheng Yongbo proposed to improve the accessibility, coverage, and convenience of rural financial services, stabilize the confidence of grain farmers, and solidify the foundation of food security. Zhang Endi, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Zhigong Party Central Committee, gave a speech suggesting accelerating institutional innovation in the pilot free trade zone, promoting the construction of a new pattern of institutional opening up, and leading high-level opening up to the outside world. On behalf of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, a member of the Standing Committee of Gao Feng gave a speech proposing to leverage the advantages of cross-border e-commerce, connect domestic and international markets, and assist in the high-quality development of China's private economy.
