According to the introduction, the organization and implementation of the pilot program are divided into five stages, namely pilot application, product admission pilot, road traffic pilot, pilot suspension and withdrawal, and evaluation and adjustment. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that currently only the selection for the pilot application stage has been completed, and it does not mean that intelligent connected vehicles with autonomous driving functions have obtained admission permits or are allowed to travel on the road. Next, the four departments will guide the joint ventures that have entered the pilot to carry out pilot implementation work. It is reported that this pilot work will guide intelligent connected vehicle production enterprises and users to strengthen capacity building, systematically promote technological innovation, large-scale development, and industrial ecological construction of intelligent connected vehicle products. Based on pilot experiments, accelerate the formation of a comprehensive, pragmatic and efficient legal, regulatory, management policies, and standard system, accelerate the construction of supporting capabilities for intelligent connected vehicle testing and verification, security evaluation, etc., and lay a solid foundation for the large-scale promotion and application of intelligent connected vehicles. At the same time, through pilot projects, we will accelerate the formation of a safety management mechanism that involves horizontal and vertical collaboration among various departments and localities, explore more systematic and comprehensive environmental construction for the research and development and production of intelligent connected vehicle products, supporting policies for road traffic, and infrastructure, and provide support and guarantee for the safe operation of intelligent connected vehicle products; By piloting and accelerating the mass production and application of intelligent connected vehicle products, we aim to drive the integration of automotive and new energy, artificial intelligence, information communication and other industries, create new quality productivity, and assist in the high-quality development of intelligent connected new energy vehicles.
