On this day, the Museum of Chinese Scientists officially opened to the public and held its first exhibition series of activities, attracting widespread attention. The Chinese Scientists Museum is the world's first national level museum established under the name of a country for a group of scientists, aimed at showcasing the image of Chinese scientists, promoting the spirit of scientists, and building a spiritual temple for scientific and technological workers. From Li Siguang, Qian Xuesen, Qian Sanqiang, Deng Jiaxian, to Chen Jingrun, Huang Danian, and Nan Rendong... in the history of the development of New China, shining names have supported the backbone of the science and technology industry. It is their efforts that have enabled China's scientific and technological development to achieve a leap from scratch and from weakness to strength, giving China the confidence and strength to develop independently and innovate independently. Museums are carriers of historical memory. Establishing a museum of scientists in the name of a country is a tribute to the vast number of scientific and technological workers, and also demonstrates respect for the spirit of scientists. The spirit of scientists is not an abstract word that cannot be seen or touched, but is reflected in the vivid deeds of science serving the country and building a strong science country. The establishment of the Chinese Scientists Museum began with a collection of materials, and after years of accumulation, it was finally completed. It is understood that the first exhibition of the museum includes one main exhibition and five special exhibitions, among which the main exhibition is divided into two major sections: "The Backbone of the Republic - Fine Collection Exhibition of the Chinese Scientists Museum" and "The Long Collection of Abundant Annual Objects - Special Exhibition of Academic Growth Data Collection Engineering for Old Scientists". Based on the first batch of research results of the "Academic Growth Data Collection Engineering for Old Scientists", a total of more than 400 physical objects (sets) of more than 190 scientists, more than 400 precious pictures, and more than 10 large exhibits provided by relevant scientific research institutions are exhibited. Through precious historical materials such as cultural relics and literature, we have gained a more comprehensive understanding of major events in China's technological development; By reading letters, manuscripts, and works, we can understand the academic growth process of scientists; Following the footsteps of scientific researchers, our hearts are filled with deep respect. Museums are such bridges that connect history, present, and future. People wander through it, understanding what it means to "come from where, go where" through what they see and hear, and gaining the power to move towards the future. The history of technological development in our country is also a witness and writing history of the spirit of scientists. From the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" to manned spaceflight, from the "Sky Eye" to the "Jiaolong" to explore the sea, from the long bridge to the high-speed railway... Generations of scientific and technological workers have worked tirelessly to establish monuments of scientific and technological innovation on the land of our country, and have also forged a unique spiritual temperament - the patriotic spirit of cherishing the motherland and serving the people, the innovative spirit of daring to climb mountains and be the first, the pragmatic spirit of pursuing truth and rigorous academic research, the dedication spirit of indifferent to fame and fortune, the collaborative spirit of gathering wisdom and tackling problems, and the spirit of unity and cooperation, and the educational spirit of willingly serving as a ladder and rewarding future students. Scientific achievements cannot be separated from spiritual support. In the new era and new journey, it is necessary to vigorously promote the spirit of scientists to accelerate the construction of a strong science and technology country and achieve high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement. A museum is like a big school, promoting the spirit of scientists and effectively utilizing museum resources.
