The newly revised Company Law will come into effect on July 1st of this year. On May 31st, the Supreme People's Procuratorate held a Party Group Theory Learning Center Group and a Collective Study of the Procuratorate Committee around the revised Company Law. The Secretary of the Party Group of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Chief Prosecutor, Ying Yong, emphasized during the study that the procuratorial organs are an important body in implementing the Company Law and shoulder important responsibilities in ensuring the unified and correct implementation of the Company Law. Professor Wang Yuying from China University of Political Science and Law provided in-depth and thorough explanations on the overview of the revision of the Company Law, the particularity of company cases, and the impact of the revised Company Law on company litigation and corporate governance, combined with specific clauses and cases. She also made suggestions for the procuratorial organs to better understand and apply the revised Company Law in supervising and handling cases. The comprehensive revision of the Company Law by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress is of great significance for improving the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, improving the property rights protection system, and promoting the creation of a legal business environment. Ying Yong emphasized the need to accurately grasp the spiritual essence, core essence, and key content of the newly revised Company Law, comprehensively coordinate and fully fulfill the "four major procuratorial" functions in accordance with the law, and effectively shoulder the procuratorial responsibility of implementing the revised Company Law. Punish crimes that infringe on the interests of enterprises in accordance with the law, and effectively protect the property rights of enterprises and the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs. Focusing on prominent issues in the civil and commercial fields of company cases, strengthening legal supervision in accordance with the law, and maintaining judicial fairness. Identify the integration point of administrative prosecution performance, promote the company's lawful operation, and assist relevant administrative authorities in fulfilling their duties in accordance with the law. Handle relevant public interest litigation cases in accordance with the law, and promote governance through supervision. Ying Yong emphasized the need to coordinate the implementation of relevant laws and regulations such as the Company Law, solidly promote the special action of "prosecuting and protecting enterprises", implement requirements such as "incorporating non economic policies into the consistency evaluation of macro policy orientation", launch more practical measures, continuously improve the quality and efficiency of handling enterprise related cases, continue to provide equal protection for all types of business entities in accordance with the law, and provide better legal guarantees for high-quality economic development. The highest level inspection leaders, full-time members of the inspection committee, and members of the inspection committee participate in collective learning.
