The Chinese Education and Cultural Exchange Foundation under the Hong Kong United Publishing Group and the Guizhou Chinese Culture Institute under the United Front Work Department of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee jointly initiated the establishment of the Hong Kong Yangming School. On the 1st, the unveiling ceremony was held and the first Yangming Heart School International Forum was opened. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, quoted Wang Yangming's famous saying in his video speech, "Without determination, there is nothing that can be achieved in the world", to illustrate the wisdom of this person who has accumulated a great deal of knowledge and skills in dealing with people and things. He pointed out that the SAR government actively promotes the promotion of Chinese culture and cooperates with the national "14th Five Year Plan" to fully develop Hong Kong into a center for cultural and artistic exchanges between China and foreign countries. The Office for Promoting Chinese Culture, established in April this year, is responsible for planning and promoting related activities to increase the recognition of the country and national identity among the citizens. The holding of the forum and the establishment of the college are good examples for Hong Kong to leverage its own advantages to promote the "going out" of Chinese culture and tell the story of Chinese culture well. Guo Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech stating that Wang Yangming left behind many famous works when he was exiled to Guizhou, and that Yangming culture has become a distinct symbol of Guizhou. I hope to use the Hong Kong Yangming School and Yangming Heart Studies International Forum as platforms and carriers to gather experts and scholars from all over the world, regularly organize academic research and exchanges, with the mission of building modern civilization of the Chinese nation, fully tap into the value of Yangming Heart Studies, help its international dissemination, and promote cultural exchange and mutual learning. Xu Zhengzhong, chairman of Hong Kong Bauhinia Culture Group, said that Yangming's mind learning is the essence of Chinese traditional culture, which has a long history and wide influence. Hong Kong is building a center for cultural and artistic exchange between China and foreign countries. Yangming School is based in Hong Kong and faces overseas. We hope that the school will become an open international academic research platform and an international platform for the dissemination and exchange of Chinese culture, helping to build a community with a shared future for mankind. Nearly 400 guests from the Hong Kong education and cultural community attended the unveiling ceremony of the school. Twelve renowned scholars, including Li Zijian, President of the Education University of Hong Kong, Liu Zhipeng, Associate Vice President of Lingnan University of Hong Kong, and Zheng Peikai, former Director of the Chinese Cultural Center at City University of Hong Kong, have been awarded academic advisory appointments. At the first two-day Yangming International Forum on Psychology, dozens of renowned scholars from home and abroad delivered keynote speeches, including Professor Cheng Zhongying from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Hawaii in the United States, Professor Hideyoshi Miura from Northeastern University in Japan, Executive Vice Dean of Guizhou Chinese Culture Institute Qi Si, Professor Wu Zhen from the School of Philosophy at Fudan University, and Director Dong Pingping from the Wang Yangming Research Institute in Jishan, Zhejiang Province.
