Despite the ever-changing international situation, the two countries have always trusted each other, cooperated sincerely, and developed hand in hand. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt. For the past 10 years, President Sesi and I have jointly led the flourishing development of bilateral relations. The China Egypt relationship has become a vivid portrayal of China's unity, cooperation, and mutual benefit with Arab, African, Islamic, and developing countries. Under the new situation, building a more meaningful and dynamic China Egypt relationship is in line with the common expectations of the two peoples. China is willing to continuously deepen mutual trust, promote cooperation, and build a community with a shared future between China and Egypt for the new era, contributing to regional and even world peace, stability, development, and prosperity.
Both sides should continue to firmly support each other and work together to promote common development. China is willing to deepen cooperation with Egypt in traditional fields such as infrastructure, industry, electricity, and agriculture, open up cooperation in emerging fields such as healthcare, information and communication, and renewable energy, deepen economic and trade investment cooperation, and encourage more Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Egypt. Organize this year's "China Egypt Partnership Year", expand personnel exchanges and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, and make the "Luban Workshop" in Egypt a benchmark for vocational education cooperation between China and Africa.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China Arab Cooperation Forum. China is willing to closely communicate and cooperate with Egypt and other parties, establish the China Arab Cooperation Forum, continuously inject new impetus into the development of China Arab relations, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Arab countries. China is also willing to work with non members of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, such as Egypt, to promote the spirit of friendly cooperation between China and Africa, and work together to build a high-level community with a shared future for China and Africa.
Saisi expressed his pleasure to visit China for a state visit and attend the opening ceremony of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China Arab Cooperation Forum. The world is currently undergoing profound and complex changes, and the Middle East region is deeply in crisis. Egypt looks forward to further deepening its comprehensive strategic partnership with China and striving to promote regional peace and stability. Egypt adheres to the One China principle, firmly supports China's position on core interests such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet, and human rights, and firmly supports China's achievement of complete national reunification. The Egyptian side welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Egypt, helping to promote the development of Egypt's manufacturing industry and industrialization process. I hope to take this year's "Year of Egypt China Partnership" as an opportunity to strengthen cultural exchanges and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in areas such as information and communication, artificial intelligence, new energy, food security, and finance.
Both sides also exchanged views on the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The top priority is to immediately cease fire and end the war, avoid conflicts from spilling over and impacting regional peace and stability, and prevent more serious humanitarian crises. The "two-state solution" is the fundamental way to solve the Palestinian issue. China firmly supports Palestine to become an official member of the United Nations. The Chinese side appreciates the important role played by the Egyptian side in promoting the cooling of the situation and implementing humanitarian assistance. It is willing to work with the Egyptian side to continue to provide assistance to the people of Gaza to the best of its ability, and to promote an early, comprehensive, just, and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
Saisi expressed that the Egyptian side highly appreciates China's consistent and just stance on the Palestinian issue, and is willing to maintain close communication with China to promote the easing of tensions in Gaza as soon as possible.
After the talks, the two heads of state jointly witnessed the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation documents on the promotion of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation plan, scientific and technological innovation, investment and economic cooperation, quarantine and other fields.
The two sides issued the Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the the Arab Republic of Egypt on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
When Cecil arrived, the ceremonial soldiers lined up to pay tribute. The two heads of state stepped onto the reviewing platform, the military band played the national anthems of China and Egypt, and 21 salutes were fired at Tiananmen Square.
