The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting on May 27th to review the "Several Policy Measures to Promote the Accelerated Rise of the Central Region in the New Era" and the "Accountability Regulations for Preventing and Resolving Financial Risks (Trial)".
We must deeply understand the strategic intentions of the Party Central Committee, always adhere to the strategic positioning of the central region as an important grain production base, energy and raw material base, modern equipment manufacturing and high-tech industry base, and comprehensive transportation hub in China, focus on promoting various key tasks, and achieve new major breakthroughs in the rise of the central region.
The meeting emphasized the need to fully leverage the advantages of gathering scientific and educational resources, adhere to innovation driven development, and strengthen original scientific and technological breakthroughs. We need to develop new productive forces according to local conditions, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, expand and strengthen the real economy, coordinate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, cultivate and strengthen emerging industries, and plan for the layout of future industries. We need to leverage our geographical advantages, strengthen the construction of modern transportation infrastructure systems, promote efficient, free, and convenient flow of factors, and better integrate into the new development pattern of services. To promote ecological environment protection and green and low-carbon development in a coordinated manner, and accelerate the construction of a beautiful central region. We must adhere to the integrated development of urban and rural areas and solidly promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. We must vigorously enhance the ability to guarantee food and energy resources, and achieve mutual promotion of high-quality development and high-level security. The Central Regional Coordination and Development Leading Group should strengthen overall coordination, refine and implement various tasks, and promote implementation in a list style. The relevant departments should increase their support, and the six central provinces of Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, and Hunan should effectively shoulder their main responsibilities, gather strong work forces, and strive to write a new chapter in the rise of the central region.
The meeting pointed out that preventing and resolving financial risks is related to national security, overall development, and people's property security, and is a major gateway that must be crossed to achieve high-quality development. The formulation and promulgation of the "Accountability Regulations for Preventing and Resolving Financial Risks (Trial)" aims to further promote the implementation of the requirements of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party in the financial field, effectively strengthen the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee over financial work, further consolidate the responsibilities of relevant management departments, financial institutions, industry regulatory departments, and local Party committees and governments in the financial field, urge leaders at all levels to establish a correct view of political achievements, and implement various tasks of comprehensively strengthening financial supervision, preventing and resolving financial risks, and promoting high-quality development of finance.
The meeting emphasized the need to effectively implement the "Regulations", adhere to the principle of strictness, dare to confront challenges, dare to manage strictly, and truly manage strictly.
