Li Qiang pointed out that the summer harvest is abundant and proactive throughout the year. We must carefully carry out summer harvest work, strengthen cross regional machine harvest organization and scheduling, ensure timely drying and drying, coordinate summer grain field management, disaster prevention and reduction, and summer sowing preparation. We should do a good job in collecting and storing summer grain, give full play to the role of the lowest purchase price as a bottom line, and ensure that farmers can earn money from growing grain. We need to transform more eligible farmland into high standard farmland. He emphasized that the government's policy of supporting food production will only strengthen and not weaken. At the National Innovation Center for Biological Breeding Industry, Li Qiang walked into the laboratory and breeding greenhouse to understand the situation of technological breakthroughs and research force allocation. At Sanquan Food Co., Ltd., Li Qiang inspected raw material testing, product development, and automated production. He emphasized that in the modernization of agriculture, seeds are the foundation. We need to promote the construction of innovation platforms in the seed industry, strengthen cutting-edge research on key varieties, accelerate industrialization, cultivate more excellent varieties, and ensure national food security from the source. The development of modern agriculture increasingly relies on technology and talent. We need to increase incentives and support for agricultural researchers, encourage more young students to study agriculture, and attract more outstanding talents to invest in agriculture. Li Qiang pointed out that the food industry is the oldest industry with enormous development potential. We should base ourselves on the advantages of agricultural resources and industrial manufacturing, give full play to the role of leading enterprises, drive the linkage and integrated development of the entire industry chain, improve quality, establish a brand, and optimize and strengthen the characteristic food industry. To innovate agricultural management methods, cultivate and strengthen new types of agricultural management entities, develop various forms of moderate scale operations, drive farmers to increase income and become prosperous, improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural development, and provide support for promoting comprehensive rural revitalization. Li Qiang visited Henan Academy of Sciences in Zhongyuan Science and Technology City to visit research centers for advanced conductor materials, laser advanced manufacturing, cell and gene science, and had discussions with researchers.
