On May 19th, the closing ceremony of the Sino Mongolian "Grassland Companion-2024" Army Joint Training was held at a training ground in Donggobi Province, Mongolia. At around 13:00 on the same day, the closing ceremony officially began, and both China and Mongolia held a flag raising ceremony. Leaders and guests from both sides gave brief speeches and announced the end of the joint training implementation phase. Before the closing ceremony, the participating forces from China and Mongolia conducted live combat exercises, and the commanders from both sides reviewed the participating teams. After the closing ceremony, both China and Mongolia jointly organized a celebration, with carefully prepared programs by the participating officers and soldiers of the two armies staged alternately, and warm applause echoed from time to time at the scene. This joint training is the first joint training between the two armies to address the activities of illegal armed groups, with the aim of further deepening strategic mutual trust and practical cooperation between the Chinese and Mongolian armies, and injecting positive energy into regional peace and stability.
