On the 2nd, the Serbian National Assembly voted in the capital Belgrade to approve the list of new governments, with the chairman of the ruling party, the Serbian Progressive Party, Vucevic, serving as prime minister. The new cabinet has a total of 30 ministers, including Sinisha Mali as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Ivica da č i ć as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Irena Vuyovic as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment, and Alexander Wulin, who has previously served as Minister of Internal Affairs and Minister of Defense, as the Deputy Prime Minister. On the 1st, when introducing the policy agenda to the parliament, Wuchevich stated that he will maintain the policy continuity of former Prime Minister Burnabic, committed to political and military neutrality, and make European integration a strategic goal. Vucevic was born in 1974 in the second largest city of Serbia, Novisad, and served as the mayor of Novisad. He has been serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Serbia since October 2022, and took over as the Chairman of the Serbian Progressive Party from Serbian President Vucic in May last year. Brnabic was elected as the President of the Serbian National Assembly on March 20th this year. On March 30th, Vuchevich announced that he had nominated Vuchevich as the new Prime Minister of the government.
