On May 1st, the launch ceremony of the "Future Scientists and Technology Journalists" deep space creative solicitation activity was successfully held in the Science Fiction Carnival exhibition area of the 8th China Science Fiction Conference 2024 in Shougang Park, Beijing. The theme of this creative solicitation activity is "Exploring the Future through Deep Space", focusing on the field of deep space exploration. The aim is to stimulate the enthusiasm of young people for aerospace technology and deep space exploration, inspire them to use their creativity, and showcase their unique insights and unlimited imagination on deep space exploration and future technology through various methods such as painting, virtual reality creation, and space seed planting. Chen Qi, Deputy General Manager of Deep Space Exploration Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Jia Xi, Director of the Science and Technology Committee of Shijingshan District, Beijing and Director of the Shijingshan Park Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, delivered speeches at the event, hoping that young people can unleash their imagination and creativity through the platform provided by the solicitation activity, and create wonderful works that interpret the connotation of crossing deep space. The children from Qian Xuesen's class at the Space Agency Kindergarten brought a choir performance of "My Space Dream" and "Lighting the Future" to the live audience, expressing their longing and longing for the space dream. The creative and imaginative paintings filled the audience with admiration, allowing more people to witness the creativity and power of these young minds. At the launch ceremony, the guests jointly pressed the start button to announce the official opening of the second "Future Scientists and Technology Little Journalists" deep space creative solicitation activity. At the event, messages from academicians, experts, and astronauts to young people were played. Wu Weiren, director of the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory and academician of the CAE Member, said in his message that he hoped to ignite the space dream in the minds of young people through this activity and cultivate their insatiable curiosity to explore the universe. The first batch of national astronauts and astronaut coach Wu Jie also sent encouragement and blessings to the children. After the launch ceremony, representatives from Chengdu Huaxi Middle School in Sichuan Province, Foreign Language School of Experimental Primary School in Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Talent School of Chengdu No.7 Middle School, and Fushun No.2 Middle School attended the space seed handover ceremony. Wen Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu Huaxi Middle School in Sichuan Province, spoke on behalf of the attending schools and the participating schools nationwide. Subsequently, sand painting artist Su Dabao brought an exciting report and sand painting exhibition of the universe's heartbeat and the universe in the sand to the live audience.
