The reporter learned from the National Data Bureau that the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Comprehensive Department of the National Data Bureau recently issued the "Key Points for the Work of the Digital Economy in 2024", which deployed the key work of the digital economy in 2024 from nine aspects. According to the relevant person in charge of the National Data Administration, the nine areas of work mainly include moderately advancing the layout of digital infrastructure, accelerating the construction of data infrastructure systems, deepening the digital transformation of industries, accelerating the breakthrough of digital technology innovation, continuously improving the level of public services, promoting the improvement of the digital economy governance system, comprehensively building a digital security barrier, actively expanding international cooperation in the digital economy, and strengthening cross departmental coordination and linkage. The relevant person in charge of the National Data Administration stated that efforts will be made in multiple directions around key areas such as basic systems, major facilities, technological innovation, industrial development, transformation and empowerment, security governance, and international cooperation. Efforts will be made to strengthen overall planning and coordination, form policy synergy, consolidate the foundation of the digital economy, accelerate reform and breakthroughs, expand new tracks, deepen empowerment and efficiency, release digital dividends, optimize the development environment, and accelerate the formation of a number of landmark achievements.
