General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that we should strengthen the construction of public cultural facilities, promote the high-quality development of the cultural industry, and better meet the new expectations of people's spiritual and cultural life. Guangdong has thoroughly practiced Xi Jinping's cultural ideology, implemented the specific deployment of the provincial party committee of "1310", accelerated the construction of a province with a stronger culture at a higher level, constantly enriched the supply of high-quality culture, and promoted the unity of meeting the people's cultural needs and strengthening the people's spiritual strength. On April 28th, the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center, which integrates the Guangdong Art Museum, Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guangdong Literature Museum, will hold its opening ceremony, becoming a landmark of Lingnan culture, a destination for public leisure, and a reception hall for exchange in the bay area. Afterwards, the White Goose Pond Greater Bay Area Art Center will officially open to the public on May 1st. On the coast of the Pearl River, this "cultural giant ship" nearly 360 meters long is about to sail in the wind, bringing Lingnan culture to the broad world stage. Lingnan culture has weathered the wind and waves, spreading far and wide. From a distance, the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center exudes a magnificent atmosphere, with a bright and smooth facade, carrying the romantic atmosphere of a harbor city. It was designed by the team of South China University of Technology led by He Jingtang, academician of the CAE Member. The project is located in the core area of the Bai'etan Industrial and Financial Services Innovation Zone, with a 560 meter long riverside landscape. The three museums have a maximum of 11 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with a total construction area of approximately 145000 square meters. They cover an area of approximately 105000 square meters above ground and 40000 square meters underground, including 65000 square meters for the art museum, 26000 square meters for the intangible cultural heritage museum, 18000 square meters for the literature museum, and 35000 square meters for shared public areas. They also have urban public spaces, underpass tunnels, bus stops, and other urban supporting facilities. The overall design of the construction is based on the concept of "cultural giant wheel, time arcade, goose pond freehand brushwork, and Yunshan artistic conception". The three pavilions are staggered in height and clear in hierarchy, gradually rising from low to high from the riverbank. From a distance, there is a scene of giant wheels sailing out to sea, symbolizing "Lingnan culture riding the wind and waves, spreading far and wide". Its facade adopts white ice crack glazed ceramic plate and glazed glass curtain wall, inheriting the Chinese ceramic culture from the "the Belt and Road" to the world. The entire exterior of the building covers an area of over 80000 square meters, with over 11 curtain wall systems and 22 subsystems. The architecture adopts "water" as the landscape design language, supporting the shape of the main building ship, forming multiple landscape nodes such as the square water scenic area, sunken leisure area, waterfront landscape belt, waterfront platform, and waterfront boardwalk. Building the "White Goose Pond Grand Stage" on a hydrophilic platform to become a distinctive stage for showcasing the cultural achievements of the Greater Bay Area. The building facade lighting, which will be focused on at night, will illuminate the art center on the south bank of Bai'etan. Holiday light shows, combined with lighting effects, will become a new urban highlight. How to make an appointment to enter the museum? The Art Center will be open to the public for free from May 1st, with opening hours from 9:00 to 17:00 (no entry at 16:30), and will be closed on Mondays (excluding holidays). The venue is scheduled for real name entry at different times, and the public can search for the "Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center Appointment" mini program to make appointments. In the early stages of opening, reservations for any venue of Guangdong Art Museum, Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, or Guangdong Literature Museum can be made
