May Day holiday, free! The Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge has released a travel reminder: Free passage for small buses from May 1st to 5th! On April 25th, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Management Bureau issued a travel notice, stating that according to relevant policies, during the 2024 Labor Day holiday, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge will be exempt from tolls for small buses with 7 seats or less (including driver's seat). The specific free time period is from 00:00 on May 1st, 2024 to 24:00 on May 5th, 2024. Small buses that meet the conditions can pass through electronic toll lanes (national standard ETC, Hong Kong express users) or manual toll lanes for free. In addition, the travel notice states that during the Labor Day holiday, the demand for cross-border travel on the bridge will significantly increase. It is expected that there will be a large flow of traffic in the westbound direction (from Hong Kong to Zhuhai/Macau) from 9:00 to 16:00 on May 4th (Saturday), and a large flow of traffic in the eastbound direction (from Zhuhai to Hong Kong) from 3:00 to 24:00 on May 5th (Sunday).
