According to the agricultural situation dispatch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of April 18th, the area of spring sown grain crops in China has reached 190 million mu, accounting for 19.8% of the planned area, and the sowing progress is 0.5 percentage points faster than the same period last year. Pan Wenbo, Director of the Planting Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, introduced that this year, the country will continue to increase its support for grain production, raise the minimum purchase price of wheat and early indica rice, stabilize subsidies for corn and soybean producers, expand the funding scale of grain yield improvement projects, continue to implement full coverage of wheat "one spray and three prevention", and provide subsidies for the construction of centralized rice seedling cultivation facilities in southern China, to stabilize the expected income of farmers in grain cultivation. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will continue to focus on increasing grain production on a large scale, focusing on major crops such as soybeans, corn, wheat, rice, and rapeseed, and promoting the integration of good fields, seeds, opportunities, methods, and systems.
