Using sports as a medium will accelerate communication and integration in the Greater Bay Area. The joint hosting of the National Games by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao will accelerate the integration and development of the Greater Bay Area. The urban construction, economic and cultural development, and software and hardware connectivity of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao will all take a higher level, and the development momentum of the Greater Bay Area will be even stronger. On the one hand, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao share the same cultural origin, have similar folk customs, and complement each other's advantages. The joint hosting of the National Games has the advantages of "favorable timing, favorable location, and harmonious people.". On the other hand, the Greater Bay Area was built under the conditions of "one country, two systems, three tariff zones, and three currencies", and there is no precedent internationally. In the process of making every effort to ensure the smooth cross-border flow of people, logistics, funds, and information in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao during the preparation and hosting of the event, the synergy and integration of various fields in the Greater Bay Area will become more and more abundant, and the differences in systems will gradually become the benefits of systems. At present, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have established a normalized and four level communication and liaison mechanism, including regular liaison meetings, the Chief Liaison Officer system, liaison officers, and joint working groups, to ensure smoother and more efficient hosting of the competition. Using sports as a medium will gather the confidence and strength of the Greater Bay Area. Sports carry the dream of national strength and national rejuvenation, and contribute to enhancing cohesion and centripetal force
