Ying Yong, Secretary of the Party Group and Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and Li Yunze, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the State Administration of Financial Regulation, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. "Wherever the central work of the Party is promoted, the procuratorial work follows suit." Ying Yong emphasized that finance is the lifeblood of the national economy. The procuratorial organs, as the legal supervision organs of the country and the judicial organs that ensure the unified and correct implementation of national laws, must shoulder important responsibilities in preventing financial risks, punishing financial crimes, and serving the construction of a strong financial country through the performance of procuratorial duties. The Supreme People's Procuratorate will work together with the State Administration for Financial Regulation to further improve the two-way linkage mechanism between execution, promote the joint issuance of measures with relevant departments to link administrative law enforcement and criminal justice in the banking and insurance industries, study and formulate specific standards for the transfer of execution linkage cases, explore the construction of a digital execution linkage platform with relevant departments, establish a new and major financial crime case joint listing supervision system, and better leverage the professional advantages of financial management departments and the judicial advantages of procuratorial organs, comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of law enforcement and judicial work in the financial field, and promote the governance of illegal and criminal sources in the financial field. Li Yunze pointed out that the establishment of the General Administration of Financial Supervision is a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee to focus on the strategic goal of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation, take the road of financial development with Chinese characteristics, and provide strong financial support for Chinese path to modernization. In this institutional reform, the State Administration for Financial Regulation has established an Inspection Bureau and an Inspection Team, with the aim of strengthening law enforcement efforts, decisively taking action against major illegal and irregular behaviors, and imposing severe penalties.
