Among them, from 9:00 to 17:00 on the 29th and from 9:00 to 14:00 on the 30th, the inbound traffic at the port continued to operate at a high level, with a peak of over 1200 passenger cars per hour during peak hours. The continuous increase in Hong Kong single license plate vehicles is the main factor driving up the peak number of inbound buses at ports, with an average of 5000 vehicles entering the country daily, setting a new historical high. Since the beginning of this year, the number of single license plate vehicles cleared in Hong Kong has exceeded 305000, an increase of 4.5 times compared to the first three months of policy implementation. The reporter saw at the scene that there was a dense flow of vehicles entering the one-stop lane of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, many of which were single license plate vehicles from Hong Kong and Macau. Under the guidance of customs and other departments, they are smoothly and orderly clearing customs. Mr. Yang, a single license plate owner in Macau, said, "Since the implementation of the 'Macau Car North' policy, it has provided us Macau residents with a lot of convenience. We can drive directly from home to different places in Guangdong Province during holidays to experience different cultures and cuisine, and relax in a larger place." In order to improve the efficiency of customs clearance and the experience of passengers, the customs continues to strengthen technological empowerment. Li Kangshui, a customs supervision department of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, introduced that "in response to the peak passenger traffic, early warning is given, and the deployment of supervision personnel is dynamically adjusted to fully ensure on-site guidance during peak periods and accelerate inspection and release. The customs also further strengthens cooperation with various departments at the port and relevant parties in Hong Kong and Macao, and continues to promote deep integration and convenient travel between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao." The customs reminded that the peak period for vehicle exports is expected to occur from 15:00 to 23:00 on April 1st and 7th.
