The 17th Chairman's Meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held in Beijing on the 27th. Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, presided over and delivered a speech. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Key Proposal Selection and Supervision Methods for the Second Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference" and the "Overall Plan for Holding the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference". The meeting approved the decision to revoke the qualification of Shi Lei as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and submitted it to the 7th meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference for recognition. Shi Taifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Hu Chunhua, Shen Yueyue, He Houhua, Bater, Su Hui, Chen Wu, Xian Hui, Wang Dongfeng, Jiang Xinzhi, Jiang Zuojun, He Baoxiang, Wang Guangqian, Qin Boyong, and Yang Zhen, Vice Chairmen of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting.
