On the 27th, three institutions from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau established "Qiwen Publishing Media Co., Ltd." in Macau to promote cultural and educational publishing exchange and cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, and to create a comprehensive cultural and educational publishing enterprise in Macau. Qiwen Publishing was jointly established by Hong Kong United Publishing (Group) Co., Ltd., Datong Publishing Media Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Education Books Co., Ltd., and Macau Huifeng Publishing Group Co., Ltd. under the Zijing Culture Group. At the establishment ceremony, Xu Zhengzhong, Chairman of Bauhinia Culture Group, stated that Qiwen Publishing Media Co., Ltd. focuses on four major business areas: textbook publishing, education and training, cultural tourism research and learning, and cultural communication, to enhance the national identity and pride of Macau's youth. I believe that in the near future, Qiwen Publishing will become a banner for cultural and educational exchanges in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, deepen the cultural construction of the region, and tell the world the stories of China and Macau. "Inspiring creativity and cultural inheritance is the company's mission and commitment to the development of education in Macau." Fu Weizhong, Chairman of Qiwen Publishing Media Co., Ltd., stated that he hopes to cultivate children to become talents who benefit the country and Macau's development, promote social progress, and have global competitiveness. I hope to write distinctive publications for Macau and take root and sprout in the cultural industry of Macau. Lin Faqin, President of the Macao Association of Literary, Educational, and Publishing, stated that Qiwen Publishing is a comprehensive publishing enterprise composed of important publishing companies from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. It will shoulder industrial responsibilities and mission of the times, and assist in the construction of Macao's cultural base. At the event, multiple publishing and cultural education projects were launched, and the first book "Macau in Postcards from the 19th to 20th Century" was published, documenting the urban development and cultural landscape of Macau through imagery; Publish Fu Yunlong's Brazil Travel Collection in bilingual Chinese and Portuguese to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. This book consists of three volumes, including "Traveling to Brazil", "Traveling to Brazil", and "Traveling to Brazil Poetry". The launch ceremony of the "Macau Students Study Abroad Program" and the "Macau Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Education Program" will be held simultaneously. Yan Zhichan, Deputy Director of the Macau Liaison Office, relevant officials of the Macau SAR Government, and 150 representatives from the publishing, cultural, educational, tourism, and community sectors attended.
