Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Annual Meeting of the China Development Forum in Beijing on March 24th and delivered a keynote speech. Li Qiang stated that the theme of this annual meeting is "A Continuously Developing China", which not only objectively describes the long-term development status of China's economy, but also fully reflects the attention and expectations of all sectors for the stable and high-quality development of China's economy. The trend of economic recovery and improvement continues to consolidate and strengthen, with new industries, models, and driving forces accelerating their growth and growth. The Chinese economy has strong resilience, great potential, and abundant vitality, and the long-term fundamentals of improvement have not changed. Li Qiang pointed out that enterprises are participants, contributors, witnesses, and beneficiaries of the sustained development of the Chinese economy. China will promote high-quality development through practical and effective actions, injecting more certainty and positive energy into the recovery and stable development of the world economy. Efforts will be made to expand domestic demand, further promote the construction of a unified national market, vigorously promote people-oriented new urbanization, and promote large-scale equipment updates and the exchange of durable consumer goods.
