My 22nd batch of troops to Liwei and carry out construction operations in collaboration with friendly forces near the border between Lebanon and Israel

On March 20th, local time in Lebanon, at the request of the Lebanese Forces Command, China's 22nd batch of multifunctional engineering teams, construction engineering teams, and peacekeeping allies jointly assisted the Ghanaian battalion near the temporary border between Lebanon and Israel, completing the task of lifting the T-shaped protective wall and further improving the overall protection level of the Ghanaian battalion. This was highly praised by the Lebanese Forces Command and peacekeeping allies. It is reported that according to the division of engineering tasks of the Lebanon Command, the Chinese engineering team is responsible for lifting the T-shaped protective wall, the Ghanaian escort team is responsible for guarding the periphery of the construction area, and the Austrian transport team is responsible for transporting the T-shaped protective wall. The task force insists on conducting pre departure safety consultations, especially in response to the recent spiral escalation of the situation between Lebanon and Israel, to study and determine new routes, and to implement new requirements such as safety officers and safety zones; In response to the frequent occurrence of unfriendly incidents in the task area, special security personnel are dispatched to carry out uninterrupted patrols with full armaments to ensure timely response in case of emergencies; In response to the fact that the construction work area is in a sensitive direction with frequent conflicts and is less than 4 kilometers away from the border line between Lebanon and Israel, during the mission period, the construction team members wear protective equipment throughout the entire process to respond to dangerous situations such as sudden gunfire and close range bullets at any time. At the construction site, the narrowest part of the work area is less than 1 meter. The commander and operator work closely together to overcome adverse weather conditions such as mountain fog and thunderstorms, as well as difficulties such as small work space, poor lifting balance, and high technical requirements. Through standard operating procedures such as "setting, adjusting, turning, retracting, releasing, and releasing", each T-shaped protective wall weighing nearly 3 tons is accurately lifted to the designated position. The superb skills and first-class standards of the crane operators in the detachment have earned praise from peacekeeping allies. After three consecutive days of intensive work, Chinese peacekeeping officers and soldiers, in collaboration with peacekeeping allies, overcame adverse factors such as severe security situations and adverse weather conditions, and completed the long-distance transportation and emergency lifting tasks of 35 T-shaped protective walls to high standards. In addition, Chinese peacekeeping officers and soldiers also took the initiative to assist friendly forces in completing two container lifting tasks. The 22nd batch of Chinese engineers sent to Levi and the engineering team, Yan Jifan, said, "We are working together with the Austrian transportation team to lift and transport the T-shaped wall in the Korean battalion. We have completed the task with the fastest speed and highest standards while ensuring safety. After the T-shaped wall arrived, our officers and soldiers from the Chinese construction engineering team and the Ghana battalion will work together to complete the defense construction task in the camp." "Thank you very much for your timely assistance and further help us clear the protective blind spots. You are very professional, and thank you again for your hard work!" On the day of the construction, Captain Shem, the engineering officer of the Ghana battalion, sincerely praised the execution and professional level of Chinese peacekeeping officers and soldiers.
