The environmental adaptability laboratory of the center can test the energy consumption and range of electric vehicles, and complete the condition testing of power batteries at different environmental temperatures. Since its approval for establishment in September 2018, the National Electric Vehicle Battery and Charging System Industry Measurement and Testing Center has carried out testing and evaluation of key parameter values of power batteries, battery consistency, etc. Through in-depth research on measurement and testing technology methods, it has taken the lead in achieving "remote measurement" of electric vehicle charging piles, and established a big data platform for charging pile measurement, connecting more than 120000 charging piles, The innovative transformation of charging station measurement mode has been achieved through measurement data. Liu Tiedong, President of Shenzhen Institute of Metrology and Quality Testing: We will focus on solving the pain points and difficulties of "inability to measure, incomplete measurement, and inaccurate measurement" in the industry, and fully leverage the role of metrology as a fundamental support and guarantee. Shenzhen has gathered key electric vehicle and charging facility enterprises such as BYD and Huawei, with a solid policy, industry, and measurement foundation. As of now, Shenzhen has built 6 national level measurement platforms, established 477 social public measurement standards, and established 1794 highest measurement standards for enterprises.
