Since 2020, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection has made anti-corruption work in state-owned enterprises a key focus of work for five consecutive years. The first round of centralized inspections of 30 state-owned enterprises by the 20th Central Committee effectively issued a strict signal. The disciplinary inspection and supervision institutions of state-owned assets and central enterprises are closely monitoring the areas severely affected by corruption and weak points in anti-corruption in the field of state-owned assets and central enterprises. They focus on key personnel, key areas, and prominent problems, carry out special rectification and systematic treatment, and increase the intensity of investigating and handling cases. Some typical and representative cases have had a significant impact in the industry, and the anti-corruption field has further deepened and expanded. Keeping a close eye on the "top leaders" and leadership team, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission stationed at the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council insists on starting from the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, decisively investigating and punishing Xia Qingfeng, the first serving department level "top leader" of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission since its establishment, as well as 5 corruption cases of bureau level cadres in the management bureau system, and seriously investigating and punishing 15 corruption cases of "top leaders" such as Zhao Ping, Fan Jixiang, and Sun Hongshui. The disciplinary inspection and supervision institutions of state-owned assets and central enterprises have seriously investigated and dealt with Wu Xiujiang, former Party Secretary and Chairman of CNNC Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., Liu Chong, former Party Secretary and Chairman of COSCO Shipping and COSCO Shipping Development Co., Ltd., Fan Cheng, former Party member of AVIC Group, former Party Secretary, Director, and Vice President of AVIC International, and Chen Fusheng, former Director of Huazhong Optoelectronic Technology Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Group, among other "leaders" Serious violations of discipline and laws will continue to consolidate the high-pressure situation of punishing corruption. Focusing on a strict tone, the disciplinary inspection and supervision institutions of state-owned assets and central enterprises continue to deepen the rectification of the problem of "relying on enterprises to eat enterprises", and resolutely eradicate corrupt tumors in key areas. In the field of energy and electricity, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at State Grid has implemented the "office group ground" joint case handling mechanism. 20 cases were filed and 27 people were punished at the local level, 2373 cases were filed and 2808 people were punished in the company system, and 39 cases of professional crimes such as Shen Jianxin, Quan Shengming, and Chen Liankai were seriously investigated and dealt with, of which 10 cases were investigated and dealt with at the local level.
