New Type of Exoskeleton Armor in Germany - Balancing Load Reduction and Bulletproof

2024-03-07

If you have watched movies such as Iron Man and Wandering Earth, I believe you will have a deep memory of the exoskeletons in the films. Exoskeletons can effectively enhance the strength of soldiers. Wearing mechas with super combat capabilities, even the thinnest and weakest soldiers can instantly become "Hercules". Not long ago, German company Mehler Protection launched a new exoskeleton armor, ExoM Up Armored. It is reported that this product has made new breakthroughs in the field of human-machine collaboration, while also possessing remarkable bulletproof functions. Soldiers carrying out missions usually need to carry a large amount of heavy equipment, including the bulletproof vests they wear. And this is exactly what makes ExoM Up Armored special, as it can both reduce load and be bulletproof. Compared to other similar equipment, this type of exoskeleton armor utilizes advanced load redistribution technology, which transfers up to 70% of the wearer's load to the ground. It can solve the wear and tear caused by long-term wear, balance and disperse the body load, reduce muscle fatigue and pressure of the wearer, and enable them to maintain efficient working conditions for a long time. The bulletproof function of ExoM Up Armored exoskeleton armor is particularly prominent, and the armor plate uses top-notch ballistic protection materials, which can achieve the full body protection level of European VPAM level 8, and can withstand three 7.62mm bullets fired at a distance of about 10 meters (bullets used in AK-47 rifles). At the same time, this type of exoskeleton armor is also equipped with a flexible spine, sliding waistband, articulated hip joints, knee joints, and ankle joints, ensuring that the wearer maintains up to 99% of their regular range of motion. This design not only considers the comfort and freedom of the wearer, but also provides an ideal human-computer interaction experience. In addition to military use, ExoM Up Armored exoskeleton armor, which has the advantage of human-machine collaboration, can also be widely used in industrial construction and medical rescue fields. In the future, ExoM Up Armored exoskeleton armor will further integrate sensors, AI intelligence, and advanced algorithms to achieve high-level autonomous behavior and intelligent assistance, and develop towards personalization, allowing users to customize according to their own intentions and operating environment to achieve optimal adaptability and equipment performance.
