In 2023, Gao Gaoqiang once again piloted the J-20 fighter jet to carry out the mission of welcoming the remains of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs back home in South Korea. At that time, there was heavy snowfall falling from the airport, and he and his comrades did not hesitate to "fully throttle up and soar into the sky.". He said that the reverence for revolutionary predecessors inspires us to always dare to fight with bayonets in the air. In recent years, the People's Air Force has expanded from air to sky and from land to sea, flying routes that have not been flown before and reaching areas that have not been visited before, continuously striving towards the strategic goal of accelerating the construction of a strong People's Air Force that integrates air and space, and is both offensive and defensive. "Only by honing the toughest style can we fight the toughest battles. This is not only the daily routine of every pilot, but also the state of every air force officer and soldier." Gao Gaoqiang said that his unit has many young comrades born in the 1990s and 2000s, who not only have the ability and responsibility, but also have passion and drive. On the last flight day before attending the Two Sessions in Beijing, he reported a minor malfunction to the maintenance support team after piloting a fighter jet to land. In order not to affect the subsequent training tasks, comrades braved the severe cold to troubleshoot and checked other fighter planes overnight. Winning the battle on all tracks and taking off repeatedly reflects the original intention.
