On February 29th, the 2024 Liwan District Friendship Exchange Spring Tea Event, jointly organized by Liwan District and the Hong Kong Liwan Association of Societies, was held in Hong Kong. District leaders Tan Minghe, Fan Bohuan, Wu Huiwen, and An Jianguo, as well as leaders of the United Front Work Department of the Liaison Office and the Municipal Party Committee, attended the event. A total of 280 officials from relevant departments of the district, members of the Hong Kong Liwan Association of Societies, and friendly guests attended the event. Lu Jinqin, President of the Hong Kong Lai Wan Association of Societies, delivered a speech at the Spring Tea event. He summarized the work of the Hong Kong Lai Wan Association of Societies over the past year in promoting communication, serving the community, and supporting economic and social development. He also put forward new expectations and requirements for the future year's work. District Mayor Tan Minghe highly recognizes the important contributions made by the Hong Kong Liwan Association of Societies in maintaining close contact and communication with friendly associations, caring for and serving the Hong Kong community, gathering forces from all sectors of society, supporting the Hong Kong SAR government's lawful governance, maintaining stability and long-term prosperity and stability in the Hong Kong region.
