China's aerospace industry is expected to carry out around 100 launch missions throughout the year, which is expected to set a new record. China's first commercial space launch site will welcome its first launch mission, and multiple satellite constellations will accelerate network construction; China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation plans to arrange nearly 70 space launch missions, launch more than 290 spacecraft, and carry out a series of major engineering tasks. On February 26th, Aerospace Science and Technology Group released the "Blue Book of China's Aerospace Science and Technology Activities (2023)" in Beijing, introducing the overall situation of space missions in 2024. This is the information learned by the reporter from the meeting. It is reported that in 2024, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group plans to arrange nearly 70 space launch missions, launch more than 290 spacecraft, and carry out a series of major engineering tasks: completing the first flight missions of the Long March 6C carrier rocket and the Long March 12 carrier rocket; The space station has entered a normalized operation mode, completing two cargo spacecraft, two manned spacecraft launch missions, and two return missions within the year; Promote the fourth phase of lunar exploration project, launch the Queqiao II relay satellite and Chang'e-6 probe, and achieve the world's first lunar backside South Pole sampling return; Launch multiple civilian satellites, including the Ocean Salinity Detection Satellite, Electromagnetic Monitoring Satellite 02, Sino French Astronomical Satellite, and Practice 19, to meet the application needs of users in various industries; Accelerate the construction of a new generation commercial remote sensing satellite system for the Aerospace Science and Technology Group. In 2024, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group's research and development tasks will continue to maintain high intensity, comprehensively promoting manned lunar exploration projects and deep space exploration projects, and continuously promoting the development of more than 200 spacecraft represented by the new generation of near Earth manned spacecraft, Chang'e-7, Tianwen-2, geostationary orbit microwave detection satellites, etc. More than 230 carrier rockets will be put into mass production, and multiple commercial aerospace and whole satellite export contracts will be fulfilled. It is reported that the Aerospace Science and Technology Group will also complete multiple commercial launch missions and publicly release information on carrying capacity, providing launch and loading opportunities to commercial users, and providing fast, stable, and reliable "one-stop" launch services to various customers. In response to the needs of major national strategies and economic and social development, we aim to extend the Beidou application to system integration and value-added services, leverage the advantages of the group company's integration of heaven and earth, as well as the comprehensive application of satellite communication, navigation, and remote sensing, continuously integrate satellite applications into emerging fields, and support the economic development of key regions. In addition, according to the Blue Book, China Aerospace carried out 67 launch missions in 2023, ranking second in the world. It developed and launched 221 spacecraft, setting a new record for the highest number of launches and spacecraft in China. Among them, the Long March series of carrier rockets successfully launched 47 times, with a total of over 500 launches, and other commercial rockets launched 20 times. (Lai Xin She)
