Since the opening of the bridge tour, as of now, the border inspection station of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge has inspected over 1100 tourists on a daily basis, which is basically close to the daily quota of 1200 people for bridge tours during the trial operation period. It is reported that as a super project connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao and a national patriotic education base, residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and mainland China can set off from the Zhuhai Highway Port via the bridge to visit the bridge. In order to ensure the smooth trial operation of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge tourism, the border inspection department has set up a special tourism inspection hall at the port, introduced a new information dispatch and supervision system, increased frontline patrol police force, added signs and signs for guidance, and focused on creating a safe, orderly, and smooth tourism environment. At present, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge tour is only open to mainland residents holding valid resident identity cards, as well as Hong Kong and Macao residents who have entered the territory and hold valid Hong Kong and Macao resident travel permits to and from mainland China.
