With the gradual manifestation of policy effects and the steady promotion of high-level opening up, new driving forces for China's trade development will be accelerated, and the basic situation of foreign trade and foreign investment will continue to be consolidated. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will conscientiously implement the deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference, and focus on helping to accelerate the cultivation of new momentum in foreign trade from the following aspects. One is to fully host the second Chain Expo. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will hold the second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo from November 26 to 30, 2024. Based on the five industrial chains of intelligent automobile chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, and healthy life chain, as well as one supply chain service exhibition area of the first Chain Expo, the exhibition logic will be further optimized to amplify the spillover driving effect of the Chain Expo. The second is to build more high-quality economic and trade platforms. We will continue to hold the 2024 Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit, the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Development Business Conference, the Global Business Law Conference and other economic and trade activities, and build one or two brands with international influence around green, low-carbon, Internet economy and other fields. Organize events such as the China Africa Entrepreneurship Conference, the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, and the China Latin America Entrepreneurship Summit to assist enterprises in conducting trade and investment in ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America, and other regions. Thirdly, we will vigorously carry out the "Thousand Regiments Going Abroad" campaign. Facing important economic and trade partners such as Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, ASEAN, and Latin America, we will organize over 1000 batches of enterprise groups to participate in overseas exhibitions, conduct inspections and negotiations, help enterprises expand their markets with orders, and support local investment promotion. The fourth is to actively support the development of new forms of foreign trade. We will conduct in-depth research in areas such as the "new three types" of foreign trade, intermediate goods trade, trade digitization, and cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses, and form more high-quality research results to provide intellectual support for the formulation of relevant policies. Organize high-quality development training and symposiums for cross-border e-commerce services, compile a list of key cross-border e-commerce contact enterprises, and continue to run the China Cross border E-commerce Electronic Journal well. Fifth, comprehensively strengthen commercial legal services. Fully utilize the professional advantages in commercial arbitration mediation, intellectual property, and economic and trade friction response, and better leverage the digital trade promotion platforms such as Trade Law Communication, Trade Enterprise Communication, and Free Trade Agreement Information Service Platform to provide one-stop, full chain, and international commercial legal services for enterprises, helping them prevent and resolve risks and challenges.
