Severe cases may include limb immobility, inability to speak, consciousness disorders, coma, etc. Severe poisoning may result in limb stiffness or spasms, high fever, all of which are caused by acute hypoxia in the body due to poisoning. In addition, carbon monoxide poisoning can also cause delayed onset encephalopathy. The public can discover carbon monoxide poisoning from three aspects and take scientific measures: first, one person or several people in the same environment may exhibit the above-mentioned symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning simultaneously. The second issue is that the environment where the poisoned person is located is narrow and poorly ventilated. The third is to have the scene and conditions for producing carbon monoxide. When discovering carbon monoxide poisoning, the first step is to immediately extinguish the fire or cut off the gas, and open windows for ventilation. Call for rescue and call 120 emergency hotline. While ensuring personal safety, transfer the unconscious patient to a fresh air area as soon as possible. Pay attention to keeping the patient warm, unbutton the unconscious patient's collar, keep the respiratory tract unobstructed, wait for medical personnel to rescue, and if possible, take oxygen as soon as possible.
